How are these different from regular real estate shoots, I bet you're wondering. Well, a few ways.
RMLS photos tend to be more room overview shots that show the whole rooms and the scope of how everything fits together. They have fewer detail shots of furnishings or other things that don't come with the house (unless you order Upscale Photos, which comes with more detail work but still focuses more on architecture and finishes rather than furnishings).
MLS homes, even staged ones, and their photos are designed to be shown in a way that a potential buyer can imagine what it would look like with their stuff in there. They are meant to produce a blank canvas in the reader's mind. Airbnb and other short-term rental photography is very much focused on things like furnishings and the little personalized, custom details that contribute to what staying in the home would feel like. What makes this space feel different and unique from others? What amenities are available for use during your stay?
Interior Design photography is similarly detail-oriented but from a design perspective. Neither of these things are the same in intent or function to MLS photography and both tend to be much more time-intensive to both shoot and edit.
